- Refrigeration, when the fault is in the sealed system: $930–$2,460. Cooking equipment sits far lower, because an igniter, a surface element or an oven sensor is $190–$520 or $190–$550. A dishwasher pump or control lands between them at $230–$660.
- Do you work on freestanding appliances as well as built-ins?
- Yes, though the built-in work is what shapes the method. A built-in has to be tested in its opening, because the opening is often what is wrong with it, and it has to come out without damaging the joinery. A freestanding machine simply makes that easier.
- Which appliance type should I book under?
- Whichever one has the symptom. The pages here are split by how the equipment fails, not by the badge, so a warm compartment is refrigeration whatever the make and a burner that will not stay lit is cooking. If it straddles two, say so on the phone.
