What customers said afterwards

Rated 4.4 out of 5 across 100 customer reviews. Each describes a single appointment: what failed, what was measured, what was changed, and how the call ended. The 18 most recent are printed here in full; the rest are filed on the appliance, make and town pages they belong to.

The figure

4.4 out of 5

Worked out from all 100 scores in the pool, not from the 18 printed below and not chosen because it reads well. Edit one entry and the build either recalculates the average or refuses to finish.

The visits that went sideways stay in. A wall of top marks tells a reader nothing, and a bench that has never had a part arrive wrong or a fault come back is a bench nobody has ever used.

Customer feedback

The 18 most recent

  • The griddle plate had started warping at one end and food slid to the corner. He levelled the range, replaced the plate and showed me how preheating it too hard had caused it. He had to return with the plate.

    Torquil M.2026-09-18

  • Our rangetop grill module had lost its even heat and the grates were pitting. He replaced the burner and the corroded grate set, explained how close we are to the water, and set a cleaning routine that has kept it right.

    Tiberius O.2026-09-15

  • The control board had died after a storm week. He checked what killed it before fitting another, found the surge had also taken the door switch, replaced both and told us what a strip on that circuit would do for us.

    Marcellus T.2026-09-12

  • The repair itself was competent and the oven heats properly again. My complaint is the number of trips: three, for a sensor and an element, because the parts were ordered one at a time rather than together.

    Lachlan V.2026-09-10

  • Our dishwasher came back from a long empty spell smelling of the drain. He stripped and cleaned the sump, found a hose that had lost its high loop behind the cabinet and refitted it properly. Took two visits to clear it.

    Wilhelmina C.2026-09-10

  • The range works now, and he was straight with us about what he found. But the first part fitted did not cure it, so we sat through a longer job than we expected and waited a fortnight in the middle for the second one.

    Elspeth C.2026-09-08

  • Ours ran warm overnight with the door shut, and the interior lamp never went out. He replaced a switch in the door that had stuck closed, then corrected the hinge alignment letting it sit proud. Simple once somebody looked.

    Callum W.2026-09-05

  • The oven had stopped responding to the touch panel after a storm. He checked for surge damage before ordering anything, found one board gone and the other fine, replaced the one and fitted a proper earth strap.

    Philomena G.2026-09-03

  • Ours sits upstairs and nobody wanted to carry it down. He cleared a condenser packed with salted sand, replaced the fan and had it holding temperature again without the cabinet leaving the kitchen at all.

    Rosalind V.2026-09-02

  • A zone on the cooktop had gone dead altogether. He found a connector at the power board browned from heat and a fan that had stopped, replaced both and cleaned the underside so it would not simply happen again.

    Aloysius N.2026-09-01

  • He was careful and clean and the machine drains properly now. I was less happy that the first diagnosis missed the second, smaller leak, so we had the whole thing out of the cabinet twice in a month.

    Loretta K.2026-08-27

  • Our oven was browning everything on one side. He checked the convection motor direction and the baffle, found the fan wheel loose on its shaft and the baffle bent, replaced both and proved it with a tray of scones.

    Ignatius K.2026-08-25

  • We rent the house out and came back to a solid block of ice jamming the arm. He freed it, replaced the fill valve that had been dribbling between guests and told us plainly to switch it off when the place is empty.

    Lorcan B.2026-08-24

  • Our machine had started running on long after the cycle should have finished. He found the drain filter packed and a sensor reading the water as dirty for the whole programme, cleared it and set a cleaning interval we can keep.

    Ottavia B.2026-08-20

  • The oven under our range would not hold a low temperature for long bakes. He replaced the sensor and one element, then spent an hour proving it with a test bake. Good work, although the booking took a while to get.

    Lysandra B.2026-08-18

  • The diagnosis was right and the machine works. What I did not enjoy was waiting a long time for the part with very little communication, and having to chase the appointment twice myself. The work, once done, was neat.

    Tamsin D.2026-08-11

  • Our panel-front machine would not latch without a hard shove. He found the custom door panel had shifted on its brackets and the latch striker worn, re-hung the panel square and fitted a new striker. Closes with a finger now.

    Rhiannon E.2026-08-04

  • Ours had begun making ice that smelled of the cabinet beside it. He tracked it to a filter long past its date and a seal drawing air from the cupboard, replaced both and flushed the line through twice.

How to read these

Where are the other 82?

On the pages they belong to. Each entry is filed under the appliance it concerned, the make it was and the town it happened in, so an appliance page shows the work on that appliance and a town page shows the calls taken there. That is the point of a pool this size: a page shows what is relevant to it rather than everything at once. Names appear as a first name and an initial, which is as much as anyone agreed to publish.

No entry quotes a figure. What a visit costs is on the pricing page, where it can be checked against the invoice, and what happens if a repair does not hold is on the warranty page. $80 flat diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair. 90 days on labor, 365 days on parts, genuine OEM parts.
